About Me

Hi, I’m David Holland. I am a Computer Engineering student at the University of Virginia with a passion for digital systems, programming, and building technology that solves real-world problems. I enjoy bridging hardware and software, from designing an 8-bit CPU in VHDL to building Blackhawk AI, a full-stack retrieval-augmented generation web app. As a Technology Assistant at the UVA Career Center, I manage deployment, security, and support across a fleet of 50+ Windows and macOS endpoints. Beyond academics, I lead and mentor through Younglife, where I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, collaborate, and create impactful projects that blend innovation with practical application.
